Ensuring your staff have a safe environment to talk about their mental health can go a long way to creating a happy and productive working environment.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most effective ways you can do this is to create a Wellness Action Plan (WAP) for your organisation.<\/p>\n<p>A Wellness Action Plan is a personalised tool that everyone in your organisation can use \u2013 whether they have a mental health problem or not \u2013 to help identify what keeps them well at work, what causes them to become unwell and what support they would like to receive to boost wellbeing and ensure a successful recovery. And they are <span><a href=\"https:\/\/insights.lumien.co.uk\/wellness-action-plans-why-are-they-pivotal-for-the-success-of-your-wellbeing-strategy\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">pivotal to the long term success of your business.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This proactive method is designed for business leaders like yourself to <span><a href=\"https:\/\/insights.lumien.co.uk\/how-do-i-calculate-roi-on-corporate-wellness-programs\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">support and manage mental health<\/a><\/span> \u2013 whether your own, or your staff members\u2019. Encouraging your staff to create a WAP gives them ownership of their mental health, and the practical ways in which they can feel well at work. It also creates an open conversation between you and your staff member to ensure you look after their mental health in a productive way, and in a way they find beneficial.
