Lumien begins new Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Aston University

Lumien are very excited to announce that we have now begun our KTP with Aston University!

The KTP will allow academics from Aston’s College of Engineering and Physical Sciences to deliver the expertise needed to apply sophisticated ML to enhance functionality and deliver an advanced version of the Lumien platform at scale. This will enable Lumien to increase provide an advanced offering, provide predictive data analysis of workplace mental health and deliver innovative software to improve productivity through preventive mental health strategies. The embedded ML skills will allow continual development of the platform post KTP.

It’s a very exciting time as we’ve welcomed our new KTP associate Fatima Chiroma who will be running the project and working on our brand-new predictive analytics tools. Prior to joining the team, she has worked on variety of projects and has developed hands-on experience and expertise in Machine Learning, Software Development and Databases. She has also been involved in projects with the Data Science Campus at the Office for National Statistics and University of Portsmouth. Fatima has a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in Software Development, and a PhD in Computing with focus on Machine Learning. Her current interests include using Artificial Intelligence to solve real world problems and for public good.

Welcome to the team Fatima!
